Rachel T. Rood, MS, RD, CD

Rachel completed her dietetics degree and training at Utah State University and became a Registered Dietitian in 1992. She subsequently earned her Master’s Degree in Nutrition at USU.

Over the years, Rachel has used her education and training in a variety of settings and capacities. In 2009, Rachel found her true passion, treating individuals with eating disorders, when she accepted a position at a residential eating disorder program. Rachel later recognized a need in the community and started a private practice in 2018, Positive Change Nutrition.

Rachel specializes in Eating Disorders, disordered eating, promotes Intuitive Eating, and uses a non-diet approach to health and wellness. Rachel is excited to be a part of the team at Legacy to provide support to clients that are on the path to recovery from an eating disorder or those struggling with their relationship with food and their body.
Rachel loves living in Cache Valley, Utah, surrounded by the beauty of the mountains. In her free time, Rachel really enjoys traveling with her husband. She also loves spending time with her adult children, playing games, or watching movies, plays, and sporting events.
